What it does

Cloudflare sits in front of a website to cache pages, manage DNS, provide SSL, and block attacks and bad traffic. Nonprofits use the free plan to make an existing site faster and safer without changing hosts. Paid plans add more security rules and support. Through Project Galileo, Cloudflare gives free protection to qualifying at-risk public interest groups such as human rights, journalism, and civil society organizations.
